SYNOPSIS
For this dance piece by Francisco Camacho, Bruno de Almeida created a film to be projected on the stage which served as a visual set for the choreography. Bruno used a variety of digitally processed old documentary war footage in slow motion as well as repetition techniques to create the "strange world" in which the dancers are confronted with the realities of death. In LIVE|EVIL, Francisco Camacho and his performers pursue the connection between good and evil. Taking their individual perceptions as a point of departure, they explore the consequences of the inevitable ambiguity arising from their privileged position as witnesses of events, both at a global scale, as in each other's lives.
